Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) activities and athletics are about halfway through the winter state tournament season, and many participants from across Osseo Area Schools have represented district high schools honorably. Here’s a look at the state meet appearances from district individuals and teams whose sports have completed the postseason so far:

Dance: The Maple Grove Senior High (MGSH) dance team continued its powerhouse tradition in the jazz category Feb. 14, when they earned a second place finish at the MSHSL state jazz dance tournament at Target Center. The team has medaled in jazz every year but two since 2006.

Gymnastics: Osseo Senior High’s (OSH) Ella Hagelin saw success at the Class AA state meet at Roy Wilkins Auditorium Feb. 22. The gymnast took second place on the beam with a score of 9.45 and ninth place on the floor with a score of 9.325.
