Maple Grove Senior High School student named Triple A Award finalist

Congratulations to Maple Grove Senior High School student Jacob Wrbanek, who was named the Region 5AA Triple A Award finalist. Each school in the state nominates one male and one female student, with the 32 finalists being selected from those students.

The Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award, commonly known as the Triple A Award, honors high school seniors throughout the state who have a 3.0 or higher grade point average and who participate in League-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities.

Wrbanek has participated in football, basketball, golf, track, wrestling, Link Crew, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and orchestra at MGSH. He also volunteers with the youth football program and at Maple Grove Days.

Wrbanek will be honored at a recognition banquet in March, where League officials will announce the four statewide Triple ‘A’ Award winners at that time. Learn more about the Triple A Award and winners on the Minnesota State High School League website.
