Scholars at Maple Grove Senior High School have been hard at work on CenterStage [Act 13]: Lucky Stars, and invite you to see the show at an upcoming performance.
Lucky Stars showcased the talents of all of the scholars in the show as they performed various singing and dancing routines in groups ranging from soloists to the entire cast on stage. The scholars made numerous costume changes and performed elaborate choreography that utilized the entire auditorium, making the audience feel engaged in the show.
The performance included various songs that fall in the theme of luck from different genres and time periods, including Million Dreams, Billionaire, Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend and Lucky. The scholars displayed different kinds of luck and changing luck.
The singers and dancers on stage were accompanied by a talented pit orchestra who accompanied them during every song and were featured in the back of the stage.
